Happy coupleCoping & Caring

Coping & Caring seminars are one-day educational workshops for people living with lung disease and their caregivers. They feature presenters familiar with the unique issues facing lung disease patients.

Past topics have included:

  • The importance of exercise and a healthy lifestyle
  • The latest information on new medications to treat lung disease
  • Using humor to live well and stress less
  • How to travel with oxygen
  • Dealing with elder abuse
  • How to care for the caregiver
Participants have stated that after attending a Coping and Caring workshop, they exercise more, seek proper treatment faster, and generally feel more comfortable living with their condition.

Coping and Caring workshops have been given across the state of Colorado for the past 10 years for minimal cost to participants. Oxygen is always included.
