James Anderson
Board President
Having lost his father to emphysema, James Anderson was drawn to the American Lung Association of Colorado because of the significance its mission. Impressed by the forthright approach of its board of directors, he decided to become a board member himself in 1989. In July 2006, he was appointed to his second term as board president. When he's not volunteering his time with the Lung Association, he serves as Senior Vice President at Municipal Capital Markets Group in Denver, specializing in utility debt, project financing, lease-purchase transactions, refinancing transactions, Colorado special districts and higher education debt.
